Secondary Instruments
Below you will find videos of me playing secondary instruments including the French horn, the flute, the violin, the trombone, and the piano. My mother was a music teacher and I was exposed to many instruments in my childhood. I studied trombone, piano, and violin intensely in grade school and high school. I started playing the flute sporadically in high school and college and started playing the French horn in college.
This is a video of me playing "Waltz in B Minor" by Chopin, an excerpt of the last movement of the Sonata Pathétique by Beethoven, and portions of "Clair de Lune" by Debussy.
This is a video of me accompanying a friend on Samuel Barber's song "Sure on This Shining Night" with text by James Agee.
This is a video of me playing Eine kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart, part of the theme from the second movement of Symphony for a New World by Dvorak, and Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin' with music by Richard Rodgers on the flute.
This is a video of me playing the first movement of the Telemann Sonata in f minor on trombone.
This is a video of me playing Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin' by Richard Rodgers, the Quaker hymn Simple Gifts, Oh Shenandoah, and O Danny Boy on the French horn.
