Emily M. Neuberger

Although technical aspects of singing and playing music are necessary in order to make music, you will never find me droning on about technique for the whole lesson!  Music comes to life through phrasing and emotion, even when dealing with the simplest of repertoire.  I want to help unleash the inherent musicality in you or your children!

I teach half hour, 45 minute, and one hour lessons in voice, beginning piano, and music theory/ear training.  I teach these lessons out of my home in North Milwaukee and also teach lessons in my students' homes. I graduated from Boston University in 2014 where I majored in Voice Performance and Music Education.  I am mostly classically trained, but am more than willing to explore many different genres of music with my students. There is no long-term commitment.  It takes time to find a teacher who can help you or your child succeed and whose personality is demanding and encouraging at the same time.  I love sharing my love of music with others.  Teaching brings such joy to my life.  I look forward to working with you (or your kids)!
